The NV350 is a game-changer in the commercial vehicle market in Japan, a sector traditionally dominated by Toyota. With its advanced safety technology, improved usability, and enhanced loading efficiency, the NV350 stands out from the crowd. The design team at E-graphics communications has crafted a brochure that reflects the van's unique properties and appeals to the hearts of potential customers.
Creating the brochure required meticulous attention to detail. The team strived to capture the van as if it were a skilled artisan, using specific angles, lens selection, lighting, and reflection. The background scene was reproduced with 3DCG, referencing an actual construction site to create a realistic sensation. The brochure also features a professional who uses the van for work, showing how the tools he uses regularly are packed in the cargo area.
The brochure is not just a marketing tool but also an incentive for potential buyers. It conveys both the emotional and functional qualities of the NV350. In Japan, automobile brochures are often picked up at dealerships or ordered online. The brochure allows new owners to obsess over their purchase and fantasize about driving it, while waiting for the car to be delivered.
The NV350 brochure was introduced in July 2017, coinciding with the van's minor model change. It will continue to be used until the next model change. The brochure is a 250-mm square with 62 pages and is made from FSC-approved paper, which is sourced from thinned wood.
The NISSAN NV350 and its brochure have been recognized for their innovative design. The project was awarded Silver in the A' Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design Award in 2018. This prestigious accolade is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, introduce positive feelings, and inspire amazement and wonder.
